In this modular space in constant reinvention, everything was carefully selected and conceived to offer a natural comfort sensation, combining the versatility and unique characteristics of cork with other materials, such as wood and steel.

The cork house is a space made in Portugal and where the whole atmosphere reflects the philosophy and values ​​of SOBRI, combining unique design pieces and the commitment to offer a unique personalized experience.

Architects design complex self-regulated systems rather than static constructions, farmers produce food and non-food crops in a regenerative way where animals, plants, and soils co-evolve together, and brands are focused on innovative circular solutions that merge nature-grown and bio-industrial materials to create a new type of ecology.

At nº 336 on Rua de Cedofeita, you can find the SOBRI LAB, a temporary shop (from August to October 2021) where you can get a microscopic view of the past, present, and especially the future uses of cork in the creation of natural, recyclable, and/or biodegradable design pieces.

The SOBRI LAB represents our vision of a more circular economy based on the natural properties of cork, combined with the craftsmanship and innovative material science developed in Portugal.

We took the expanded cork agglomerate up to number 256 on Rua de Cedofeita in Porto, to create a sensory experience through this very simple and complex material, bringing this space even closer to nature and bringing greater comfort to try the infinite beers that Catraio has to offer.

Four centuries later, at number 41 of Rua Cimo de Vila, the SOBRI Wine Bar was born - a space where design, fashion, arts, and music blend.
For 3 months (from October to December 2019) our POP-UP Store combined, in a modular space, SOBRI products, a selection of Portuguese wines and cheeses with an area dedicated to tastings, exhibitions, performances, DJ sets, and of course, curiosities about cork!
